However long you have smoked for and whatever your circumstances, Smokefree Norfolk can provide support for your quit attempt.
Our services includes:
- Personalised support from a Stop Smoking Coach to identify the best way for you to quit
- Help to set a quit date, get started and keep going
- Progress tracking
- Access to community support and apps
We also provide:
- A free course of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) products
- A free vape starter kit
- An invitation for friends/family to join sessions to support you
- Support to address challenges, such as managing cravings

1 One-to-one sessions
We offer nine 30-minute sessions with a Stop Smoking Coach delivered over 12 weeks to provide support at every step of your quit attempt.
Your Stop Smoking Coach will create your personalised quit plan involving the latest evidenced-based behavioural change approaches.
They will also help you to make informed choices about using nicotine treatment products or a vape to help you stop smoking and improve your health.
You can choose whether you would like your sessions in person, by video call or by telephone call.

2 Group sessions
Our group programme is delivered by two Stop Smoking Coaches as seven 90-minute workshops.
This option provides a great opportunity to learn and practice evidenced-based behavioural change techniques with others who are working towards the same goal of being smokefree.
Your supportive peer group will share quit successes and tips for managing any difficulties associated with quitting.
As part of this you will receive individual support to make informed choices about using nicotine treatment products or a vape to help with your quit.

Do you have access to a mobile phone, tablet or laptop and feel self-motivated to Be Tobacco Free?
If the answer is yes to both, then you can access our 12-week self-service "Be Tobacco Free" programme at your convenience, anytime and anywhere.
The "Be Tobacco Free" programme offers daily activities via My Wellbeing Hub. By the end of the programme, you'll have learned how to live tobacco-free and developed healthier lifestyle habits to quit tobacco for good.
Our virtual coach will guide you through the programme which is divided into two sections:
- Weeks 1-6: Focus on becoming tobacco-free
- Weeks 7-12: Focus on maintaining a tobacco-free lifestyle
Created using evidence-based guidance, the programme includes interactive videos that guide you through planning, quitting, and sustaining a tobacco-free future. We use badges, progress tracking, and rewards to enhance motivation and engagement. The short, interactive content and the ability to track achievements and progress make the learning experience more enjoyable and rewarding.
In addition to the programme, you'll have access to other features within the hub. Take our wellbeing quiz, explore our content library full of useful advice and articles, or discover additional support through our signposting pages. You can also message a coach or our technical team as and when you need help.
For additional support, our Stop Smoking Coaches will arrange regular check-ins with you to talk about progress and will also arrange access to your required nicotine treatment products or a vape to help with your quit.
